City Team Dental Clinic
Santa Clara County Dental Foundation is proud to work with City Team Dental Clinic in San Jose. Our Neighbors are struggling with poverty, homelessness, hunger, and addiction, trapped in cycles of desperation. High cost of living, lack of affordable housing, and mental health challenges are intensifying local hardship. SCCDF offers sponsorship and volunteers to City team. Together, we can improve the quality of life for people and help them get out of pain and gain confidence to work and enjoy life.
The City Team Dental Clinic in North San Jose is seeking ongoing Dentist Volunteers to serve individuals suffering from homelessness and toxic dependency in residence at the City Team Ministries recovery facility. Services are provided at the discretion of Volunteers but could include basic dentistry, prophylaxis, fillings, extractions, partial and full dentures, and some endodontic therapy in the anterior teeth, all at no charge. Volunteers must carry their own malpractice insurance.
The clinic is open on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Volunteers do not need to stay for the whole time. Any time you can offer is gratefully accepted. Sign up to serve with us today!
